Mailyn Faulkner

Music Teacher

Mailyn Faulkner is a vocalist and guitarist. She is also skilled with other stringed instruments, as well as percussion. She is a songwriter and performer with a wide repertoire. Her positive teaching style encourages students’ strengths while inspiring them to select music for their highest good. Mailyn thrives on expanding the musical talent of her students and assisting them in collaborating with each other to have fun and shine.

Mailyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Performance and Business Management from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has performed at Carnegie Hall with Sound Circle (Boulder’s a cappella ensemble) and at Lincoln Center in New York City with the Denver Women’s Chorus. She has also fronted several bands, has toured Bali and Vietnam with the New Thought artist Jana Stanfield, and has sung backup vocals for Barry Manilow.

In addition to teaching the middle schoolers here at MSE, she currently teaches voice, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and musical theater students at Evergreen School of Music.
