Montessori School of Evergreen

We prepare children for life.

We celebrate each child’s individuality and help them discover how they can best contribute to our world. Children are naturally curious and love to learn; we support this innate drive by providing environments that meet children’s developmental needs, by having a staff of loving and well-prepared adults, and by building a community of families that actively support our mission.

Alumni & Student Testimonials

Why do so many families choose Montessori?

MSE provides a unique and highly effective learning and academic approach.

Social, emotional, and physical development are as critical as academic skills.

Montessori fosters a child's confidence and authentic self to capably navigate life’s transitions.

Current neurology and human development research consistently backs Montessori.

Programs

“I am always delighted to receive an application from a student at the Montessori School of Evergreen. I can count on the students to be well prepared academically and emotionally. They are good writers and critical thinkers. More than that, I have been impressed with the students’ deep interests in extracurricular activities, whether it be arts, athletics, or community service. The Montessori students are well rounded, well adjusted and have no trouble fitting into the mix of students at Colorado Academy. Additionally, their parents value education and have been highly supportive of our school. I hope that we will always be able to maintain this positive relationship with the school."

Justice Statement

In philosophy and practice, Montessori School of Evergreen condemns prejudice of all kinds. The biases of hatred, bigotry, and racism are prevalent, seen in covert, overt, subtle, and blatant forms. These intolerables may feel like history to some but are the present for many. Society must confront both history and the modern condition if we wish to be free.

As an educational institution, MSE acknowledges its sacred responsibility towards this vision by engaging children intentionally in thoughtful, age-appropriate conversations, developing self-reflective practices, and valuing the lived experiences of others. We are committed to students learning to be free in expression, yet responsible and accountable for their words and actions.
